Why is Visbiome stored cold (refrigerated)?Updated a year ago

Visbiome is refrigerated to protect the high potency live bacteria from excessive heat during storage. The Visbiome strains can be exposed to warm conditions for brief periods of time and are even stable at room temperature for up to a week. High temperature spikes will degrade the living bacteria over time, which is why we store and ship Visbiome under temperature-controlled condition with temperature monitoring.

 Visbiome should be stored under refrigeration. Store at (36-46°F, 2-8°C). Do not freeze. Visbiome can be stored at room temperature for up to one week without adversely affecting potency.
